I retired from the N.Y.P.D. as a Detective in February 2001 after an exciting 20 year ringside seat to the Greatest Show on Earth.

My family, like many others, came to Myrtle Beach on vacation a year prior to my retirement. As most cops and Firemen do, I introduced myself to the local Police officers as a comraderie gesture between law enforcement officers from different  departments. We exchanged shirts and patches as collectable souveniers.

I realized by doing this many times while on vacation all over the world, that you can get the low down on anything that you might wish to do and get the answers with accuracy and honesty.

On this visit I knew this was where I wanted to live the rest of my life, kick-back, relax, Fish, play some Golf and enjoy the good life plus raise my two boys in a beautiful, safe, fun environment.  In every Police and Fire department in this country, there is always at least one Realtor, and that is how I found my home here.

Seven years later, I can honestly tell you I found paradise. My pension from NY goes a long way here, but soon I was looking  for something exciting to do, so I became a Realtor. I thought if I could talk a gun or a knife out of somebodys hand, I should be able to talk people into buying a home from me. 

Because I am on a good pension, I don't need to push anyone to buy a home they  don't love absolutely or can't afford.  

Currently, I volunteer as a Karate instructor and Junior Achievement teacher at my son's elementary school, A volunteer Firefighter, and I just completed  building my first Log home for sale.
